PROCEDURE FOR DELIVERING A LEGAL DEPOSIT MATERIALS

Procedure for delivering a legal deposit materials [for Producers]:

  1. The producer shall provide full legal deposit materials, in accordance with the guidelines (attached), on physical storage devices.
  2. The FINA employee responsible for legal deposit then registers the delivered materials, and their quantity, in the accessions book.
  3. The FINA employee responsible for legal deposit, at the Producer's request, issues confirmation of the receipt of the storage devices together with the following information:
    • Name of the producer
    • Title of the film and name of the director
    • The unique film ID number
    • A list of the received storage devices to be checked
  1. FINA employees from the relevant departments then carry out checks of the materials (including checking that the electronic files are correct) and in the event of any faults being detected, they shall inform the FINA Employee responsible for legal deposit, who shall request the Producer to supplement or amend the delivered materials.
  2. The deadline for completion of this check is 20 working days from the date of receipt of the set of materials, but any remarks sent to the producer will result in this deadline being extended by the time needed to rectify the reported issues.
  3. After all the materials have been accepted, the FINA employee responsible for legal deposit will notify the Producer that the signed and stamped Receipt Protocol is ready.
